Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate, born 18 August 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate used to be a part of Strikeforce, in which she was a past Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president for ONE Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as of October 3 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb of Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. When she was a young girl Tate was often seen hanging out with the boys of her community at the playgrounds.
